CON~RAT~LATII~G AND PRAISING <br />~P~OK VALLEY JOINT I~IO~ RI~t SCHOOL <br />ON ITS SUCCESSFUL ATHLETIC SEASON <br /> <br /> ~tEREAS, the Amador Dons of the Amador Valley Joint Union <br />High School, Pleasanton, CalifQ~=;i'have completed a successful <br />season in sport competition in '~ ~a~s leagues, including <br />football, cross-country track, and tennis; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the fine spirit of competition displayed by ~aid <br />teams, Whether Varsity, Junior Varsity, or Freshmen, has.oeen <br />a credit to the City of Pleasanton and the Eastern Alameaa <br />County area served by said high school; and <br /> <br /> ~'REAS, this competition and <br />National Physical Fitness Program <br />John F. Kennedy; <br /> <br />Crainingis in keeping with the <br />undertaken by the late President <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Council and all of the City officers do hereby <br />praise and congratulate the students, participants, spectators,~ <br />managers, coaches, administrators, pri~ipals, and trustees of <br />said Amador Valley Joint Union High School District for the <br />success in the Fall season in its athletic program. <br /> <br /> 2. The City Council does further express its appreciation <br />for the spirit and sportsmanship which has contributed tothe <br />Pleasanton co-~unity. <br /> <br /> 3.
