<br />CITY Of PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 67-46 <br />A RESOLUTION CONCERNING ANNEXATION N0. 52, "DUBLIN ANNEX"i <br />AMENDING RESOLUTIOM N0. 67-42, DECLARING THE CITY COUNCIL S <br />INTENT TO CALL A SPECIAL ANNEXATION ELECTION AND FIXING <br />A TIME AND PLACE FOR PROTESTS BY PROPERTY OWNERS <br />THE CITY COUNCIL DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Resolution No. b7-42, adopted March 6, 1967, is hereby <br />amended to change the protest hearing date for property owners, <br />and it is set forth in full in the paragraphs below. By changing <br />the date of said protest hearing, the Council intends to make an <br />election possible in early June, 1967. <br />2. It is the intent of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton to call a special election to be held on a date to be <br />fixed in the future pursuant to Section 35122 of the Government <br />Code of the State of California, in certain inhabited territory <br />contiguous to the City and proposed to be annexed thereto, and <br />within the City, pursuant to Section 35122 of the Government Code. <br />3. The purpose of said election shall be to submit to the <br />qualified electors residing in the territor~r, Sn~i within the City <br />in a separate election held at the same; tuns, .#!fitt~`.:es'ilon -wixether <br />or not said territory shall be annexed to the City of Pleasanton. <br />4. Said property is designated as "ANNEXATION N0. 52, <br />DUBLIN ANNE]C", being all that real property in the Township of <br />Pleasanton, Alameda County, California, further described as <br />follows: <br />See EXHIBIT "A" attached hereto <br />and made a part hereof. <br />5. Notice is hereby given that any person owning real <br />property within said territory so proposed to be annexed and havi <br />any objection to the proposed annexation may appear before said <br />City Council and show cause why such territory should not be <br />annexed. The place, date, and time of said protest hearing is as <br />follows: <br />Place: CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WOMEN'S CLUB HUILDING, <br />VINEYARD AND REGALIA AVENUES, PLE.9SANTON, <br />CALIFORNIA; <br />Time: 8:00 P.M., MONDAY; <br />Date: APRIL 3, 1967 <br />6. Such protest shall be made p~'t!~-+t to ge€t;6~ 3512'a of <br />the Government Code and shall be in writing, shall state the name <br />or names of owner or owners of the property affected and the loca- <br />tion and area of such property in general terms. <br />- 1 - <br />
