3 <br /> <br />words "herein," "hereof," "hereunder" and other words of similar import refer <br />to this Resolution as a whole and not to any particular Article, Section or subdi- <br />vision hereof. <br /> <br />Bonds <br /> <br /> The term "Bonds" means the $750,000 principal amount of City of Pleasan- <br />ton 1967 Water Revenue Bonds authorized by, and at any time outstanding <br />pursuant to, this Resolution or any Supplemental Resolution, and, so long as any <br />of such Bonds are outstanding, any Additional Bonds authorized by, and at any <br />time outstanding pursuant to, this Resolution and any Supplemental Resolution. <br />The term "Series A Bonds" means the $400,000 principal amount of City of <br />Pleasanton 1967 Water Revenue Bonds, Series A. The term "Serial Bonds" means <br />Bonds for which no minimum sinking fund account payments are provided. The <br />term "Term Bonds" means Bonds which are payable at or before their specified <br />maturity dates from minimum sinking fund account payments established for that <br />purpose and calculated to retire such Bonds on or before their specified maturity <br />dates. The term "Series A Term Bonds" means the Series A Bonds maturing by their <br />terms on May 1, 1993. The term "Additional Bonds" means bonds of the City issued <br />in accordance with Section 3.05. <br /> <br />Certificate of the City <br /> <br /> The term "certificate of the City" means an instrument in writing signed by <br />the Mayor, or by any officer of the City duly authorized by the Council for that <br />purpose, and by the Clerk, with the seal of the City affixed. Any such instrument <br />and supporting opinions or representations, if any, may, but need not be combined <br />in a single instrument with any other instrument, 6pinion or representation, and the <br />two or more so combined shall be read and construed as a single ir~trument. <br /> Any certificate of the City may be based, in so far as it relates to legal, account- <br />ing or engineering matters, upon the opinion or representation of counsel, account- <br />ants or engineers, unless the officer signing such certificate knows, or in the exer- <br />cise of reasonable care should have known, that the opinion or representation wkh <br />respect to the matters upon which such certificate may be based, as-aforesaid, is <br />erroneous. The same officer of the City, or the same counsel or accountant or other <br />persons, as the case may be, need not certify to all of the matters required to be <br />certified under any provision of this Resolution or any Supplemental Resolution, but <br />different officers, counsel, accountants or other persons may certify to different <br />facts, respectively. <br /> Every certificate of the City and every opinion of counsel, accountants, engi- <br />neers or other persons provided for herein shall include-- <br />(1) a statement that the person making or giving such certificate or <br />opinion has read the pertinent provisions of this Resolution to which such <br /> <br /> <br />
