Said Issue, and Prescribing'the Terms, Conditions and Form o] Said Series A Bonds. WRER~AS, the City Council of the City. of Pleasanton, on July 12, 1965, duly adopted a resolution calling a special revenue bond election to be held in the City on October 5, 1965, for the purpose of submitting tothe qvalified voters of the City'the measure hereinafter set forth to issue $750,000 principal amount of water revenue bonds under the Revenue Bond Law of 1941 of the State of Caii- forula; and WItEREAS, all requirements of law have been complied with in ca]llng and holding said special revenue bond electiun and the City Council of the City of Pleasanton did duly and regularly canvass the returns of said election and did by such canvass determine and declare, and does hereby certify, that said measure received at said election the affirmative vote of more than a majority of all of the voters voting on said measure at said election and said measure was thereby carded and adopted by said ~tecfion and the issuance of said revenue bonds by the City of Pleasanton for the purpose of the acquisition, construction, improvement and financing of the improvements to the enterprise described in said measure was duly authorized; and WHE1~EAS, the City of Pleasanton now owns and operates a municipal .~water system and the City Council ofI the City of Pleasanton has determined that the public interest and necessity demand the acquisition, construction, improvement and financing of improvements to said water system as described in said measure; Now, T~EREFOSE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pleas- anton as follows: . ' ARTICLE I AUTHORIZATION OF BONDS; DEFINITIONS SECTXON 1.01. Authorization and Purpose. (a) The Council has reviewed all proceedings heretofore take--6'Telative to the authorization of the Bonds and has found, as a result of such review, and hereby finds and determines, that all conditions, things and acts required by law to exist, happen or be performed precedent to and in the issuance of the Bonds do exist, have happened and have been performed in due time, form and manner as required by law, and the City is now authorized, pursuant to each and every requirement of law, to issue the Bonds in the manner and form provided in this Resolution.
