10 <br /> (b) Any series of Bonds, other than Series A Bonds, may be made subject to <br />redemption prior to maturity, as a whole or in part, at such time or times, and upon <br />payment of the principal amount thereof and accrued interest thereon'plus such <br />premium or premiums, if any, as may be determined by the CounCil at the time <br />such series is authorized and as shall be set forth in the Supplemental Resolution <br />providing for the issuance of such series. <br /> (c) The Fiscal Agent shall cause notice of any redemption to be published <br />once not less than thirty nor more than sixty days prior to the date fixed for <br />redemption in a financial newspaper or journal, printed in the English language, <br />of general circulation in San Francisco, California. Such notice shall state the <br />redemption date and the redemption price and shall designate the serial numbers <br />of the Bonds to be redeemed by giving the individual number of each Bond or by <br />stating that all Bonds between two stated numbers, both inclusive, have been called <br />for redemption, and shall require that such Bonds be then surrendered with all <br />interest coupons maturing on or subsequent to the redemption date at the office of <br />the Fiscal Agent or at the office of any of the Paying Agents, for redemption at the <br />said redemption price, giving notice also that further interest on such Bonds will <br />not accrue after the redemption date. <br /> A similar notice shall be mailed by the Fiscal Agent to the respective registered <br /> owners of any Bonds designated for redemption, at their addresses appearing on the <br /> Bond registration books in the office of the Fiscal Agent, and to the original pur- <br /> chaser of said Bonds, or ifisaid original purchaser is a syndicate, to thcjnanager or <br /> managers of said syndicate, and to any Bondholder on written request, at least thirty <br /> but not more than sixty days prior to the redemption date; but such mailing <br /> shall not be a condition precedent to such redemption and failure to mail or to <br /> receive any such notice shall not affect tl~e validity of the proceedings for the <br /> redemption of such Bonds. <br /> Such notice of redemption shall be sO published and mailed by the Fiscal Agent <br /> at the written request of the City (which request shall be given to the Fiscal Agent <br /> at least forty-five days prior to the date fixed for redemption), but only after the <br /> City shall have deposited with or otherwise made available to the Fiscal Agent the <br /> moneys required for payment of the redemption price of all Bomta_tben to be called <br /> for redemption, together with the estimated expense of giving such notice. <br /> After the date fixed for redemption, if notice of such redemption shall have <br /> been duly published and funds available for the payment of the principal of and <br /> interest (and premium, if any) on the Bonds so called for redemption shall have <br /> been duly provided, such Bonds so called shall cease to be entitled to any benefit <br /> under this Resolution other than the right to receive payment of the redemption <br /> price, and no interest shall accrue thereon on or after the redemption date speci- <br /> fied in such notice. <br /> All Bonds redeemed pursuant to the provisions of this Section and the appur- <br /> tenant coupons, if any, and all Bonds purchased by the Fiscal Agent pursuant to <br /> <br /> <br />
