EXHIBIT "A" <br /> '~ESCRIPTION OF TERRITORY TO BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ANNEXATION NO. 53 <br /> <br /> All that certain real property situated in the Township of Pleasanton, County <br />of Alameda, State of California, described as follows: <br /> <br /> BEGINNING at an angle point in the §eneral northeasterly boundary line of that <br />certain territory annexed to the City of Fleasanton under Ordinance No. 366, a map of <br />which was filed January 21, 1966, in Map Book 51 at page 14, Records of Alameda County, <br />California, at the intersection o~ the westerly right-of-way line of County Road No. <br />2961, commonly known as Hopyard Road, 80.00 feet in width, with the northwesterly line <br />of that certain parcel of land conveyed by Oakland Title Insurance and Guaranty Company, <br />a corporation, to Howard C. Hansen and Virginia C. Hansen, his wife, by deed recorded <br />May 9, 1945, in Book 4706 of Official Records at pase 199 (SS-28960), Records of <br />Alameda County, California; thence leaving said Eeneral northeasterly boundary line <br /> <br />northerly alone said westerly right-of-way line to an intersection thereof with th~ <br /> line <br />Eeneral westerly right-of-way/of Hopyard Road, a County Road, as established by that <br />certain GRANT OF RIGHT-OF-WAY between VOLK-McLAIN COMMUNITIES~ INC., and the COUNTY OF <br />ALAMEDA, a political subdivision of the State of California, a certified copy of which <br />was recorded AuEust 24, 1966, in Reel 1830 of Official Records, ImaEe 249 (AY 101147), <br />Records of Alameda County, California; thence in a general northerly direction alone <br />last said general westerly right-of-way line to an intersection thereof with the <br />aforesaid westerly right-of-way line of County Road No. 2961; thence northerly along <br />said westerly right-of-way line to an intersection thereof with the direct production <br />northeasterly of the southeasterly line of that certain parcel of land desiEnated <br />"TRACT 'A'" in that certain FINAL JUDGMENT AS TO PARCEL NO. 6, entitled, "UNITED STATES <br />OF AMERICA, Plaintiff, vs. 105.19 acres of land, more or less, in Pleasanton Township, <br />County of Alameda, State of California, SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD, et al., Defendants," <br /> <br />3-29-67 <br /> <br /> <br />
