CITY OF PLEASANTON COUI~TY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RES~L~JTION NO. 67-65 ACQUIRING A PUBLIC SERVICE EASENENT SOUTHERLY OF THE SEWAGE TREAT~EIqT PLANT AND EASTERLY OF THE SOIrlItERN PACIFIC RAILROAD IN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, FOR SANITARY SEWERS AND UTILITY PURPOSES, BY TIlE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AND AUTHORIZING START OF EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS FOR ACQUIRING AND PROCESSING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY THEREFOR. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton that it hereby finds and determines and hereby declares as follows 1. The public interest, convenience, need and necessity require the acquisition, construction and completion by the City of Pleasanton of certain public improvements for public street pmrposes, to wit: The acquisition, extension and improvement, including all structures and work and improvements reasonably necessary and appurtenant thereto, of the public service ease- m~nt and right of way southerly of the sewage treatment plant and easterly of the Southern Pacific Railroad, Pleasanton, California. 2. The public interest, convenience, need and necessity require the acquisition by the City of Pleasanton, for and in connection with said public improvements, of the real property, or interest in real property, hereafter described. 3. The public interest, convenience, need and necessity require that a fee simple estate, unless a lesser estate is hereinafter expressly described, be taken by the City of Pleasant~ in and to said real property, or interests in real property, to wit: the Emilio Brondolo and Giuseppina Brondolo property, coumonly known as 5507 Sunol Boulevard, Pleasanton, California. 4. The City Attorney is hereby authorized to take any and all actions necessary on behalf of the City of Pleasanton to acquire title to said property by eminent domain proceedings or otherwise. -1-
