CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> 67-71 <br />RE:SOlUTION NO. <br /> <br />CALLING A SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD <br />JUNE 13, 1967, WITHIN THE PROPOSED DUBLIN <br />ANNEXATION ~ WITHIN THE CITY, CONCERNING <br /> "ANNEXATION NO. 52, DUBLIN ANNEX" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution No~ 67-42, adopted March 6, 1967, the <br />City Council of the City of Pleasanton declared its intent to call <br />a special election in certain Uninhabited territory contiguous to <br />the City, commonly known as "Annexation No. 52, Dublin Annex", and <br />a special election held at the same time within the City, for the <br />purpose of submitting to the qualified electo:s residing in said <br />territory and within the City, the question of whether or not the <br />territory shall be annexed to the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a copy of said resolution was published as required <br />by law; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the protest hearing at the City of Pleasanton, <br />8:00 P.M., on Monday, April 3, 1967, no written protest was filed <br />within the meaning of §35120 ef the Government Code; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 67-70, adopted April 3, 1967, the <br />City Council determined that no majority protest was made; and <br /> <br /> WHEREA~, all proceedings have been had in accordance with <br />said resolution and the Annexation Act of 1913; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE~ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. A special election is hereby called to be held on June 13 <br />1967, in the territory hereafter described and proposed to be <br />annexed to the City of pleasanton, for the purpose of submitting <br />to the qualified electors residing in said territory the question <br />whether or not said territory shall be annexed to, incorporated in <br />and made a part of said City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> 2. A special election is hereby called to be held on June 13 <br />1967, within the existing boundaries of the City of Pleasanton, <br />for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors residing <br />in said City the question whether or not said territory shall be <br />annexed to, incorporated in, and made a part of the City of <br />Pleasanton. <br /> <br />' 3. Said territory is designated as "Annexation No. 52, Dublil <br />~nnex", is located within the Township of Pleasanton, Countyof · <br />Alameda, State of California, and iS further described in EXMIBtT <br />which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> <br /> 4. The polls at said election shall be opened at 7:00 o'cloc <br />A.M. of the day herein fixed for the holding of said election and <br />shall be kept open until 8:00 o'clock P.M. of the same day, when <br />the poll~ shall be closed. <br /> <br /> <br />
