CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA 67-71 RE:SOlUTION NO. CALLING A SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD JUNE 13, 1967, WITHIN THE PROPOSED DUBLIN ANNEXATION ~ WITHIN THE CITY, CONCERNING "ANNEXATION NO. 52, DUBLIN ANNEX" WHEREAS, by Resolution No~ 67-42, adopted March 6, 1967, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton declared its intent to call a special election in certain Uninhabited territory contiguous to the City, commonly known as "Annexation No. 52, Dublin Annex", and a special election held at the same time within the City, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electo:s residing in said territory and within the City, the question of whether or not the territory shall be annexed to the City; and WHEREAS, a copy of said resolution was published as required by law; and WHEREAS, at the protest hearing at the City of Pleasanton, 8:00 P.M., on Monday, April 3, 1967, no written protest was filed within the meaning of §35120 ef the Government Code; and WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 67-70, adopted April 3, 1967, the City Council determined that no majority protest was made; and WHEREA~, all proceedings have been had in accordance with said resolution and the Annexation Act of 1913; NOW, THEREFORE~ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: 1. A special election is hereby called to be held on June 13 1967, in the territory hereafter described and proposed to be annexed to the City of pleasanton, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors residing in said territory the question whether or not said territory shall be annexed to, incorporated in and made a part of said City of Pleasanton. 2. A special election is hereby called to be held on June 13 1967, within the existing boundaries of the City of Pleasanton, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors residing in said City the question whether or not said territory shall be annexed to, incorporated in, and made a part of the City of Pleasanton. ' 3. Said territory is designated as "Annexation No. 52, Dublil ~nnex", is located within the Township of Pleasanton, Countyof · Alameda, State of California, and iS further described in EXMIBtT which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. 4. The polls at said election shall be opened at 7:00 o'cloc A.M. of the day herein fixed for the holding of said election and shall be kept open until 8:00 o'clock P.M. of the same day, when the poll~ shall be closed.
