CiTY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />I~,OLUTIO N NO. 67-76 <br /> <br />COMMENDING PLEASANTON JAYCEES FOR <br />FAVORABL~END01~ING ANNEXATION NO. <br /> · D~J~BLXN ANNEX <br /> <br />52, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, elections have been called by the City Council to <br />~e held June.13, 1967,-on the question of whether or nott~nnexation <br />NO. 52, Dublin Annex", shall be a part of the City of Pleasanton; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the task of making facts available to voters within <br />the City and within the proposed Dublin Annex is a difficult and <br />arduous one; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the ~leasanton Jaycees, a part of the national <br /> Iunior Chamber of Commerce, is the first civic group within the <br />City of Pleasanton to favorably endorse said election; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Council does hereby commend and express its <br />appreciation to the Pleasanton Jaycees for its courage as the first <br />civic club to publicly support the election to be held June 13, <br />1967, for Annexation No. 52, Dublin Annex. <br /> <br /> 2. The City Council further e~presses its appreciation for the <br />help in providing facts, figures and information to voters within <br />the City and the proposed annex concerning this complex issue and <br />question. <br /> <br />3. The City Council states that this action of the Pleasanton <br />Jaycees was farsighted in looking toward the future of the Amador- <br />San Ramon Valley and the common problems of the entire Pleasanton- <br />Dublin area.
