ALAMEDA, COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION, NO.__67 - 18'5 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the staff engineers of Zone7.of Alameda County <br />Flood Control and Water Conservation District,'Pleasanton County <br />Township Water District, and the City have reported a meeting. <br />of minds concerning the safe-yield for the underground water <br />basin of Pleasanton and Murray Townships; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, agreement on calculations .for the annual safe-yield <br />of ground water for said area is essential to fixing independent <br />quotas for pumping ~efore purchase of imported water from Zone 7, <br />available under State of California Water ~Aan; <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City' Council does hereby approve and confirm, as a <br />basis for negotiation, the report of Alan B..Campbell, City <br />Engineer, estimating safe-yield of the Amador-Pleasanton-Livermore <br />ground water basin as follows: <br /> <br /> SUB-BASIN' ACRE FEET PER YEAR <br /> <br />Livermore 3,900 <br />Santa Rita * 8,500 <br />Pleasanton 3,300 <br />San Ramon 1,600 <br />Parks 700 <br /> <br />TOTAL 18,000 <br /> <br /> 2. The City staff is instructed to continue its research, <br />negotiations and surveys to set an equitable independent quota for <br />pumping by the City of Pleasanton. <br /> 3. The ~ity of Pleasanton does re-affirm its intent to reach <br />formal and final agreement with Zone 7 at earliest possible date? <br /> <br /> 4. Copies of this Resolution shall be sent to 'Local' Agency <br />Formation Coum~ission of Alameda County' for presentation at hearing <br />on Annexation No. 56, and to other interested agencies and officiai <br /> <br />DATED: <br /> <br />November 27, 1967 <br /> <br /> WARREN R.
