CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION UPHOLDING AN APPEAL OF A DECISION OF THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION AND THEREBY APPROVING THE <br />APPLICATION OF CHAMBERLIN ASSOCIATES (PUDD 81-30-84D) FOR <br />DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ChamberlinAssociates applied for design review approval to construct a 44,250 <br /> sq. ft., two-story office at 5075 Hopyard Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)- I/C-O (Industrial, <br /> Commercial and Office); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission denied the application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasunton Municipal Code, the applicant filed an <br /> appeal of the Planning Conunission's decision; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held before the City Council on April 3, 2001 on <br /> the appeal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council determined the proposed land use to be appropriate for the site <br /> and traffic impacts negligible; and <br /> <br />an Environmental Impact Report (EIR)was prepared in conjunction with PUD <br />approval for Hacienda Business Park and the proposed project is within the scope <br />of the EIR; therefore, no environmental document was prepared for this proposal'. <br /> <br />NOW, lliEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Se~ion 1: <br /> <br />Approves Case PAP-15, thereby approving the application of Chamberlin <br />Associates for'design review approval to construct a 44,250 sq. fi. office building <br />at 5075 Hopyard Road, as filed under Case PUDD 81-30,84D, and subject to the <br />atlached conditions. <br /> <br />Seotion 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
