Based on the initial involvement, appointment of Committee members by the Council is now <br />being requested. The following members have each agreed to serve: <br /> <br />Frank Auf der Maur <br />Tim Waters <br />Darryl Smith <br />Bill Rose <br /> <br />148 Spring Street <br />525 Main Street <br />2884 Foothill Oaks <br />5550 San Juan Way <br /> <br />Upon appointment, the Committee and staff will establish more formal goals and processes for <br />admini.~trafion of the Committee, and will return with an ordinance formalizing the Committee <br />in th~ Municipal Code. <br /> <br />Them are only minor administrative costs associated with establishing the Bicycle Advisory <br />Committee. Establishing the Committee is a requirement for eligibility to receive TDA <br />Article 3 ftmding for bicycle projects. Moreover, by establishing the Committee, Pleasanton <br />will be better situated to take advantage of current and future grant programs which assist the <br />City in developing bicycle facilities and programs. <br /> <br />Ra~ll A.
