CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 01-057 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A BICYCLE ADVISORY <br />COMMITTEE AND MAKING APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission requires the establishment of a <br /> bicycle advisory committee to review grant funding for bicycle projects; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 5, 2001, the City Council received a staff report (SR 01:126) <br /> regarding establishment of such a committee. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />A Bicycle Advisory Committee is hereby established to review TDA Article 3 <br />bicycle projects and to participate in the development and review of <br />comprehensive bicycle plans. <br /> <br />Appoints the following individuals to the Bicycle Advisory Committee: <br /> <br />Frank Auf der Maur <br />Tim Waters <br />Darryl Smith <br />Bill Rose <br /> <br />Section 3: Directs staff to return with an ordinance formalizing the committee in the <br /> Municipal Code. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
