CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 01-060 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />EXECUTE A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND THE <br />PLEASANTON POLICE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION (PPOA) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton, acting through the City Manager as employer <br />representative of the City Council, and representatives of the Pleasantun Police <br />Officers Association (PPOA), have met and conferred pursuant to the provisions <br />of Section 3500, et. seq., of the Government code in regard to wages, hours and <br />other terms and conditions of employment for members oftbe PPOA; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />as a result of the above met and confer process, a proposed Memorandum of <br />Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the PPOA was presented to the <br />City Council at the meeting of June 5, 2001. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Approves and authorized the City Manager to execute the Memorandum of <br />Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the PPOA for the term <br />commencing June 1, 2001 through May 31, 2008. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
