CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01-061 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING EDGAR CENTENO TO THE <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY MOSQUITO ABATEMENT DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF TRUSTEES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, due to the resignation of Richard Whitsel, a vacancy has occurred on the Alameda <br /> County Mosquito Abatement District Board of Trustees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, applications were received and interviews held with various individuals who are <br /> interested in serving on the Board and their qualifications evaluated. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Edgar Centeno is appointed as Pleasanton's representative on the Alameda County <br />Mosquito Abatement District Board of Trustees, which term expires on <br />December 31, 2002, or until such time as he is replaced. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON JUNE 5, 2001 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Ayala, Campbell, Dennis, and Mayor Pico <br /> <br />None <br />Councilmember Michelotti <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Michael H.
