RESOLUTXO~NO.__67 - 185 <br /> <br /> ~H{E~EAS, the staff engineers of Zone 7 of Alameda County <br />Flood Control and Water Conservation District, Ple~nton County <br />Township Water District, and. the City have reported a meetin$ <br />of minds concernin$ the safe yield for the underground water <br />basin of Pleasanton and Murray Townships; and, <br /> <br /> ~HEREAS, agreement on calculations for the annual safe-yield <br />of sround water for said area is essential to fixing independent <br />quotas for ptasping before purchase of imported water from Zone 7, <br />available under State of California Water Plan; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Council does hereby approve and confirm, as a <br />basis for negotiation, the report of Alan B. ~ampbell, C~ty <br />EnSinaer, estimating saf~yie~d of the Amador Pleasanton Livermore <br />~round water basin as follows. <br /> <br />ACRE FEET PER YEAR <br /> <br />Livermore 3,900 <br />Santa Rita 8,500 <br />Pleasanton 3,300 <br />San Ramon 1,600 <br />Parks 700, <br /> <br />TOTAL 18,000 <br /> <br /> 2. The City staff is instructed to continue its research, <br />negotiations and surveys to set an equitable indepe~ebent quota for <br />pumping by the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> 3, The City of Pleasanton does re-affirm its intent to reach <br />formal and final agreement with Zone 7 at earliest possible date. <br /> <br /> 4.
