registered as to principal only shall be made only to the <br /> registered owner of such Bond, but the bearer of any cou- <br /> pon appertaining to an unregistered Bond or to a Bond <br /> registered as to principal only or registered to bearer <br /> shall be deemed the absolute owner of such coupon, and the <br /> bearer of any unregistered Bond or a Bond registered to <br /> bearer shall be deemed the absolute owner of such Bond, <br /> and the City and the Paying Agent, or any Altermate Paying <br /> Agent, shall be fully protected in making payment of such <br /> unregistered Bond or coupon to the bearer thereof. <br /> <br /> In all cases in which the privilege of transfer- <br />ring, registering or reconverting a Bond is exercised, the <br />Paying Agent may make a charge sufficient to reimburse it <br />for any tax, fee or other governmental charge required to <br />be paid by the City or the Paying Agent in connection <br />therewith, and in addition may charge a reasonable sum for <br />its costs and expenses in the reconversion of any such Bond <br />~egistered as to both principal and interest into a Bond <br />registered as to principal only, or into a Bond the orin- <br />cipal and interest of which is payable to bearer, not <br />exceeding $1 per $1,000 principal amount of Bonds so con- <br />verted or such larger amount as may be permitted by law, <br />which sum or sums shall be paid by the person requesting <br />such transfer, registration or reconversion. <br /> <br /> Section 7.
