<br /> The bonds will be delivered ~o the successful bidder

<br /> BOND AUTHORIZA?ION
<br /> The bonds hereby offered have been authorized pursu-
<br /> ant to SecdOn 43600 et seq. of the Government Code of
<br /> the State of California (Monicip~l Bond Act of 1901), by
<br /> the results of a bond election conducted for two different
<br /> purposes, i
<br /> The two bond pmpossls authorized the incm'tx~ce of:
<br /> (1) a bonded debt of ~I,070,000 for the acquisition
<br /> of park sites and construction of appropriate park improve.
<br /> meats;
<br /> (2) a bonded debt of ~5,000 for the construction of
<br /> a new fire station, remodelin8 mad expansion of the existing
<br /> main fire station, and furnishings and fixtures for the facil-
<br /> ities.
<br /> The proposals were voted November 28, 1967. A ma-
<br />j6rity of 985 to 419 authorized the park bonds nmi a
<br />majority of 1,202 to 204 approved the fire protection bonds.
<br /> Proceeds of the Series B bonds will be used approxi-
<br />mately ns follows:
<br /> Park acquisition and improvement $320,000
<br /> Remodeling, expansion and furnishing of
<br /> the main fire station 215,000
<br />
<br /> Total $535,000
<br />NO ADDITIONAL BONDS
<br /> The $535,000 in bonds hereby offered will s~tisfy all
<br />project requirements. No other general obligation bonds
<br />are currently authorized.
