OFF/CIAL NOTICE 0~ SALE <br /> <br />$S50;000 CITY OF PLEASANTON 1967 WATER REVENUE <br /> <br /> BONDS~ SERIES B <br /> <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed proposals <br />will be received and opened by the City Clerk of the <br />City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, State of California, <br />at the City Council Meeting, Multi-Purpose Room, Valley <br />View School, 480 Adams Way, Pleasanton, Alameda County, <br /> <br />California, on <br /> <br /> TUESDAY, OCTOBER <br /> <br />at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M. <br /> <br />8, 1968 <br /> <br />(P.S.T.) for the purchase <br /> <br />of $350,000 principal amount of revenue bonds of the City <br />designated "City of Pleasanton 1967 Water Revenue Bonds, <br />Series B" (hereinafter called the "bonds"), more particu- <br />larly described below. The bonds are authorized to be <br />issued under the provisions of a resolution of the City <br />Council adopted March 27, 1967, and a supplemental resolu- <br />tion of the City Council adopted September 10, 1968, and <br />pursuant to the Revenue Bond Law of 1941 of the State of <br />California. The bonds are the balance of an authorized <br />issue of $750,000 aggregate principal amount authorized <br />at an election held in the City on October 5, 1965, <br />$400,000 principal amount of which were sold on April 17, <br />1967. The bonds are more particularly described in the <br />resolutions (which are incorporated herein by reference) <br />and copies thereof will be furnished to any interested <br />bidder upon request.
