HIRST, City Attora~ <br /> <br /> F~ESOLUTION NO.--68-193 <br /> <br /> RE: CONSENT BY CITY OF PLEASANTON TO DECLA~ATION BY <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA OF HOPYARD ROAD, A CITY STREET, TO <br /> BE A COUNTY ROAD DURING CONSTRUCTION <br /> <br /> The Board of Supervisors of the County of Alameda did, <br /> by Resolution No. 127183, adopted October 15, 1968, <br /> declare, pursuant to Sections ~7~0 et seq, of the Streets <br /> and Highways Code, that Hopya~ Road, a City Street, was <br /> to become a County highway with respect to the construc- <br /> tion, maintenance, improvement and repair of same; and <br /> Section 1701 of the Streets and Highways Code requires <br /> the City Council of the City of Pleasanton to consent <br /> either by ordinance or resolution to the conversion of a <br /> city street to a county highway for certain purposes; and <br /> It appears that said conversion is in the best interests <br /> of the City of Pleasanton; <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the City of Pleasanton consents to the conversion ot <br /> Hopyard Road to a county highway for purposes of construe <br /> tion, maintenance, improvement and repair. <br /> <br /> 2.
