WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />NOW, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 69-21 <br /> <br /> VACATING'A PORTION OF BLACK AVENUE, ADJACENT ON THE EAST <br /> TO HOPYARD ROAD <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Pleasanton did, on <br /> January lB, 1969, adopt Resolution No. 69-3, declaring it <br /> intention to vacate a portion of the right-of-way common- <br /> ly referred to as Black Avenue, within the City of <br /> Pleasanton; and <br /> <br /> The City Council did, on February 3, 196~, pursuant'~o <br /> Section 8323 of the Streets and Highways Code, hold a <br /> public hearing and find no protest to said vacation; and <br /> Evidence both oral and documentary was presented with <br /> respect to whether the area proposed to be vacated was <br /> necessary for present or prospective street purposes; an~ <br /> It appearing that the portion of right-of-way in questior <br /> is not necessary for present or prospective streets <br /> purposes; <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> lo That the City Council of the City of Pleasanton does <br /> hereby declare that, in accordance with the provisions <br /> of Section 8306 of the Streets and HighWays Code, a <br /> portion of Black Avenue, more particularly described on <br /> the document attached hereto designated as Exhibit "A" <br /> and incorporated by reference herein, is unnecessary for <br /> present or prospective street purposes. <br /> <br /> 2. The City Council further declares said portion of Black <br /> Avenue is hereby vacated and abandoned. <br /> <br /> <br />
