~ OF PLEASANTON DOUNIY OF ALAMEDA ~_TATE OF CALIFORNIA 69-78 WHBI~AS, Or~inance No. 511 establishes a procedure for the creation of under~round utility districts and requires as the initial step insUch procedure the holding of a public hearing to ascertain whether public necessity, health, safety, or welfare requires the re~Oval of poles, overhead wires and associated overhead structures and the underground installation of wires and facilities for supplying electric, oo~unication, or similar or associated service in any such district~ and it has been recommended that such an underground utility district, hereinafter called District, he formed on the east and west sides of Main Street, from the north property line of Spring Street and the extension thereof westsrly across Main Street, to the south bank of the Arroyo del Vallel NO~, THEREPORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: NOTICE IS ~REB¥ GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the City COur~il of the Cit~ of Pleasanton on May 5, 1949, at the hour of 8:00 P.M. ~n the Pleasanton Justice Court B~ilding, 30 West Angels Street, tO ascertain whether the p~blic health, safety or welfare requires the re~oval of poles, overhead wires and associated oVerhead structures and 2he underground installation of wires and facilities for supplying electric, oom~unication, or similar associated service in the District hereinabove described. At such hearing all persons interested shall he given an o~portunity to be heard. Said hearing ~ay be coatinued from time to time as may be detained by the City Council. 0 The City Clerk shall notify all affected property owners, as shown on the last equalized assessment ro11, and utilities cmumsd~Mao~ ~he~=-- ami p~naeof ou~hhed~i~g by mailing a copy of this resolution to such property owners and utilities concerned at least ten (10) days prior to the date thereof. The area proposed to be included in the District is shown upon that certain map entitled Underground Utility District No. 69Q-1, dated December 16, 1968, which is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City o3 Pleasanton.
