ISg-Tg <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING STAFF TO SOLICIT BIDS ON WEEDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS: A resolution Was adopted and a hearing held with respect <br /> <br /> to the abatement of dangerous or noxious weeds on or in <br /> front of certain designated property with the City of <br /> Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Said Weed Abatement Program is being carried out pursuanl <br /> to Section 39560, et seq, of the Government Code, by <br /> Resolution No. 69-74. <br /> <br />WHEREAS: It appearing that the public health, safety and general <br /> welfare will be served by implementing said Weed Abate- <br /> ment ~rogram; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> (1) That the Fire Chief of the City of Pleasanton be author- <br /> ized to solicit bids for the doing of the work of <br /> abatement of weeds. <br /> <br /> (2) That, although not required by law, a second reminder <br /> notice be given those property owners listed in Resolu- <br /> tion No. 69-74 prior to abatement of the weeds by the <br /> City. <br /> <br />DATED: April 21, 1969 <br /> <br />BERNARD Ti GERTON, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City ~Clerk <br /> <br />WILLI/LM A.
