CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />R~OLUTION NO-, 69-~ <br /> <br />NAMING A PORTION OF KOTTINGER PARK CENTRAL "THE GARY MEYE~ <br />MEMORIAL GROVE", IN MEMORY OF GARY MEYERS AND ALL OTHER <br />RESIDENTS OF CITY OF PLEASANTON KILLED IN VIETNAM IN <br />DEFENSE OF HUMAN RIGHTS. <br /> <br />~HEREAS: It appears appropriate and in the public interest by way <br /> of memorial to those residents of the City of Pleasanton <br /> who have died in the service of their Country to name a <br /> portion of Kottinger Park Central, "The Gary Meyer's <br /> Memorial Grove". <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the area of Kottinger Park on the northeast corner <br /> of Kottinger Park Central, west of Pico Avenue, be <br /> officially designated, "The Gary Meyers Memorial Grove", <br /> and that a plaque be prepared memorializing the services <br /> to their country of Gary Meyers and all other residents <br /> of the City of Pleasanton killed in Vietnam in the <br /> defense of human rights. <br /> <br />DATED: May 5, 1969 <br /> <br />/ PPRI)VED AS TO FORM <br /> <br />WILLIA~,I ~., ...... l, city Attorney <br /> <br />BERNARD T.
