,CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ~)UNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> ~'TATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br /> REgOLLmON NO~ <br /> <br />SUPPORTING F~COMMENDATIONS OF TF~ ALAMEDA COUNTY HIGHWAYS <br />ADVISORY COMMITTEE FOR THE IMPROVEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF <br />THE STATE HIGHWAY SYSTEM IN ALAMEDA COUNTY FOR THE FISCAL <br />YEAR 1970~71 <br /> <br /> Certain recommendations for State Highway improvements <br /> to be included in the 1~70,71 fiscal year State Highway <br /> Budget were approved at a meeting of the Engineers Sub- <br /> committee, of the Alameda County: HighWay Advisory Com- <br /> mittee, on April 25, 1969; and <br /> <br /> These recommendations did include improvements to widen <br /> State Route 580 to full freeway standards and completion <br /> of plans for the interlchange at Route 680 and West Las <br /> Positas Boulevard; and <br /> <br /> The City of Pleasanton has a primary interest in the <br /> widening of Inter-State Route: 580 to full freeway <br /> standards and completion of plans for the interchange at <br /> Route 680 and West Las Positas Boulevard. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Pleasanton supports the <br />recommendations of the Alameda County Highways Advisory <br />Committee for the Improvement and Development of the <br />State Highway System in Alameda County for the fiscal <br />year 1970-71, and urges the California Highway Commissiol <br />to accept these recommendations. <br /> <br />DATED: May 19, 1969 <br /> <br />BERNARD T.
