WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS'. <br /> <br />NOW, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. ~9-11~ , <br /> AUTHORIZING RELEASE AND PAYMENTOF 1051 RETENTION to <br /> WEST VALLEY CONSTRUCTION CO,,RE: CASTLEW00D DRIVE WATER <br /> MAIN PROJECT <br /> <br /> The thirty.five day retention period for the contract in <br /> connection with the Castlewood D~ive Nater Main Project <br /> has expired, thus making it appropriate to pay the 10% <br /> of the ~cont~act retained by the City in the amount of <br /> $4,901.38; and <br /> <br /> From the 10% retention should be deducted the amount of <br /> $129.39, in satisfactionof a claim of Western Pacific <br /> Railroad Company for inspection work performed during <br /> the construction period, which said claim is the respon- <br /> sibility of the cont~act0r pursuant to the specifications <br /> in the contract. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That release of the 10% retention in the amount of <br /> $4,771.99 to West Valley Construction Company is approve~ <br /> <br /> 2.
