described above and proposed to be annexed to the City of <br />Pleasanton, and having any Objections thereto, may appear <br />before the Council and show cause why such annexation <br />should not take place, to wit: <br /> <br /> AT THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS, JUSTICE COURT BUILDING, <br /> 50 WEST ANGELA STREET, PLEASANTON, CALIFORNIA, AT <br /> 8:00 P.M., MONDAY, JULY 14, 1969. <br /> <br />Such protest must he filed in writing, and may be filed in <br />time before the hour set for hearing objections to bhe pro- <br />posed annexation, and shall state the name or names of the <br />owner or owners of property affected, and the description <br />and area of such property, in general terms. <br /> <br />The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause a <br />copy of this ResQlution to be published at least twice~ but <br />not oftener than once a week, in"THE TIMES", a newspaper of <br />general circulation published in t~e City of Pleasanton; <br />and to be published outside the City but within the County <br />of Alameda, where said territory is located. Both of said <br />publications shall he,completed at least twenty (20)days <br />prior to the date set for hearing. <br /> <br />The City Clerk is further authorized and directed to cause <br />written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed to <br />sach person to whom land within the territory is assessed <br />in the last equalized County assessment roll available, at <br />the addresses shown on said assessment roll or known to the <br />Clerk, and to any person who has filed his name and address <br />and the designation of the lands, in which he has an interest <br />either legal or equitable, with the Clerk. Such notice <br />shall be given not- less than twenty (20)days before the <br />first public hearing on the proposed annexation. <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
