WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO-6g-1~l ~ <br /> <br />PETITIONING THE ALAMEDA COUN~Y BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO <br />RETAIN EX?ENDITUHE FOR COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH CLINIC <br /> <br />inclUded in the Proposedl budget for Alameda County for <br /> <br />fiscal year 1969-70 is an expenditure of $65,723 for a <br /> <br />Community Mental Health Clinic to be located in the <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, There is no such clinic presently located within the <br /> Livermore-Amador Valley; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the lack of adequate public transportation from the <br /> Livermo~e-Amador Valley to the urban metropolitan area <br /> in which mental health services are available and the <br /> ever increasing population in the Livermore-Amador Valle <br /> have created an urgent need for such a clinic in the <br /> Livermore-Amador Valley. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the City Council of the City of Pleasanton memorial <br /> ize the Alameda County Board of Supervisors to retain <br /> the proposed expenditure for a CommunitY Mental Health <br /> Clinic in the final Alameda County Budget for the fiscal <br /> year 1969-70 inasmuch as the need for such services in <br /> the Livermore-Amador Valley is great. <br /> <br /> 2. That the appropriate City officers be authorized and <br /> directed to transmit sufficient copies of this resolutior <br /> to the Alameda County Board of Supervisors in order that <br /> they be apprised of the feelings of the City of Pleasan- <br /> <br />~ ~ ~'%~n w~u~espec~ ~o ~ne ~f~f ~ C~ni~y Men~al <br /> <br /> Livermore-Amador Valley; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, 90% of the cost of said clinic is to be paid for by the <br /> State of California and 10% by Alameda County; and <br /> <br /> <br />
