RE: <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO, 6~-156 <br /> <br />SUPPORT OF PLEASANTON JUNIOR FOOTBALL LEAGUE <br /> <br />WNEREAS: <br /> <br />WNEREAS: <br /> <br />NOW, <br /> <br /> The Parks and Recreation Commission did, at its meeting <br /> on June 26, 1969, recommend that the Pleasanton Junior <br /> Football be granted co-sponsored status and that the <br /> City financially support, to the extent of $800.00, said <br /> Football League; and <br /> <br /> The City Council has in the past indicated its support <br /> for said Pleasanton Junior Football League and has <br /> indicated its interest in contributing monetarily to the <br /> support of said Junior Football League as financially <br /> feasible; <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the City Council again indicates its approval of <br /> <br /> and support for the Pleasanton Junior Football League as <br /> being desirable and in the public interest. <br /> <br /> 2. That the Pleasanton Junior Football League be granted <br /> co-sponsored status. <br /> <br /> 3. That the City staff be authorized and directed to inves- <br /> tigate the financial feasibility of supporting monetari- <br /> ly the Pleasanton Junior Football League in the amount <br /> of not to exceed $800.00 for the fiscal year 1969-70 <br /> and to effect such financial support if feasible. <br /> <br />DATED; June 30, 1R69 <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />;.
