CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NOL 69'163 <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS AGREEMENT WITH <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY WITH RESPECT TO ANIMAL CONTROL <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />NOW, <br /> <br /> The City of Pleasanton is desirous of entering into a <br /> Joint Exercise of Powers agreement whereby the County of <br /> Alameda would provide animal control services for a <br /> specified price; and <br /> <br /> Such an agreement would provide in the most economical <br /> manner possible animal control services for the City of <br /> Pleasanton. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the proposed Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement <br /> between the City of Pleasanton and the County of Alameda <br /> with respect to animal control services be approved. <br /> <br /> 2. That the appropriate City officers are authorized and <br /> directed to sign said agreement on behalf of the City of <br /> Pleasanton. <br /> <br />DAT D.
