WHEREAS <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />NOW, <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RM-,SOLUTION NO~ <br /> <br />RE: TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR DIVISION STREET FROM <br />MAIN STREET TO RAILROAD AVENUE <br /> <br /> The Director of Public Works has recommended that Divi- <br /> sion Street,between Railroad Street and Main Street, be <br /> designated a one way street for westerly traffic, with <br /> parking on the north side only; and <br /> <br /> The Director of Public Works has further recommended <br /> that parking on the north side of Division Street be <br /> prohibited for approximately 20 feet from its intersec- <br /> tion with Main Street and that staggered loading zones <br /> be established on either side of Division Street to <br /> accommodate commercial interests fronting on Main Street <br /> It appears that recommendations of the Director of Publi, <br /> <br /> Works are appropriate and in the public interest; <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That Division Street is hereby designated a one way <br /> <br /> street for westerly traffic only, from Railroad Street <br /> to Main Street, and parking shall be permitted on the <br /> north side of Division Street only, except that parking <br /> on the north side of Division Street shall be prohibited <br /> for 20 feet from the intersection of Division Street and <br /> Main Street. <br /> <br /> 2. That staggered loading zones approximately 20 feet long <br /> be established on either side of Division Street close <br /> to its intersection with Main Street in order to accommo- <br /> <br /> 3.
