NOW, <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO,.__.~.g;.].~-~ <br /> AUTHORIZING TELEVUE SYSTEMS, INCORPORATED, TO INCREASE <br /> RATES TO ITS CUSTOMERS AND, AS A CONDITION OF SAID <br /> AUTHORIZATION, IMPOSING CERTAIN TERMS AND CONDITIONS <br /> UPON TELEVUE SYSTEMS, INCORPORATED <br /> <br /> Televue Systems, Incorporated, the City of Pleasanton's <br /> Cable Television franchisee under Ordinance 376, applied <br /> to the City Council for authorization to raise its rates <br /> to customers; and <br /> <br /> Several hearings were held at which oral and documentary <br /> evidence was heard andcconsidered, including lengthy <br /> staff reports, culminating in a recommendation report by <br /> the City Manager; and <br /> <br /> It appeared that a return on investment to Televue <br /> Systems, Incorporated, of 5.12% was a fair rate of retur~ <br /> and that, in order to achieve such a rate of return, an <br /> increase in rate to $6.00 per month to all subscribers <br /> was appropriate. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That effective September l, 1969, Televue Systems, Incor <br /> porated, be authorized to charge Six and no/100 Dollars <br /> ($6.00) per month to all subscribers to its cable tele- <br /> vision service, subject, however, to the following terms <br /> and conditions: <br /> (a) That for the remaining life of its franchise, <br /> Televue Systems, Incorporated pay to the City of <br /> Pleasanton 5% of its monthly total of gross re- <br /> ceipts as provided for in Ordinance 376. <br /> (b) That from and after September l, 1969, Televue <br /> Systems, Incorporated, eliminate its aerial <br /> <br /> <br />
