CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />AUTHORIZATION TO PROCEED WITH DEMOLITION AND CONSTRUCTION <br />OF PETERS AVENUE BETWEEN ST. MARY AND DIVISION STREETS, <br />AND WITH CONSTRUCTION OF TEMPORARY OFF STREET PARKING <br />ADJACENT THERETO <br /> <br />WHEREAS; <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />NOW, <br /> <br /> The Property required in order to construct one-half of <br /> Peters Avenue between St. Mary and Division Streets has <br /> been acquired; .and <br /> <br /> It is now appropriate to demolish two buildings situated <br /> within the right-of-way of Peters Avenue and to clear <br /> said right-of-way; and <br /> <br /> Plans and specifications for construction of one-half <br /> width of Peters Avenue from Division Street to St. Mary <br /> Street are being prepared. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> lo That the City Attorney be authorized to notify the <br /> tenants of the City of Pleasanton at 371 Division Street <br /> to vacate the premises by October l, 1969. <br /> <br /> 2. That the Department of Public Works be authorized and <br /> directed to proceed and complete preparation of plans <br /> and specifications for demolition of the two buildings <br /> within the right of way of Peters Avenue and to advertis~ <br /> for bids for said demolition as quickly as possible. <br /> <br /> 3. That following demolition and clearing, the Department <br /> of Public Works is authorized to complete plans and <br /> specifications for the construction of one-half width of <br /> Peters Avenue from Division to St. Mary Street and to <br /> advertise for bids for said construction as quickly as <br /> possible. <br /> <br /> 4. That in conjunction with construction of Peters Avenue <br /> <br /> <br />
