CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STAT~ OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 69-297 <br /> <br /> RE: APPROVAL OF EXPENDITURE FOR A PEDESTRIAN AND <br /> BICYCLE TRAIL TO MISSION PARK <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Director of Public Works has indicated that a pedes- <br /> trian walkway and bicycle trail can be constructed along <br /> the easterly side of Sunol Boulevard to the Mission Park <br /> Development; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Construction of said trail would enhance the safety of <br /> pedestrians and bicycles attempting to travel from Missic <br /> Park along Sunol Boulevard to the Main portion of Sown. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the Director of Public Works be authorized to commit <br /> the City to construct a pedestrian and bicycle trail <br /> along the easterly side of Sunol Boulevard to Mis~ldn <br /> Park as q~ickly as possible pursuant to an already <br /> negotiated understanding between the City and John Deetz <br /> and Company, said cost of construction not to exceed <br /> $1,406.50. <br /> <br />DATED: December 15, 1969 <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />BERNARD T.
