CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 69-273 <br /> <br />SUPPORTING CLEAN AIR C0$RDINATING COMMITTEE <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />The members of the Pleasanton City Council are convinced <br />ffhat air pollution is a public health hazard which is <br />increasing at an alarming rate; and <br /> <br />The members of the City Council desire to support immedi- <br />ate and strong legislation to control air pollution and <br />increased appropriation for enforcement and research; an¢ <br />The Clean Air Coordinating Committee is a citizens commit <br />tee actively working to persuade government agencies to <br />promulgate appropriate legislation in air pollution <br /> <br /> control. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE <br /> <br /> 1. That the <br /> <br /> IT RESOLVED as follows: <br /> <br /> City Council of the City of Pleasanton supports <br />the activities of the Clean Air Coordinating Committee <br />and that the Mayor of the City of Pleasanton is authorize <br />to endorse on behalf of the City of Pleasanton the <br />attached petition evidencing their support for the <br />activities of Clean Air Coordinating Committee. <br /> <br />I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and <br /> <br />regularly adopted by the members of the City Council of the City of <br />~Pleasanton at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 17th day of <br /> <br />November, 1969, by the following vote, to wit: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Bera~lis, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor <br /> Gerton <br /> <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />AT ST: <br /> <br /> <br />
