CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />WNEREAS. <br /> <br />NOW, <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 69-261 <br /> PROCLAIMING OF NOVEMBER 11, 1969, VETERANS DAY, AS HONORING <br /> IN PARTICULAR THE EFFORTS AND ACTIVITIES OF THE VETERANS <br /> OF FOREIGN WARS AND THE AMERICAN LEGION <br /> <br /> November 11, .1969 is Vet!e~ama Day and has been proclaimed <br /> both nationally and throughout the State of California as <br /> a holiday for the observance of the contribution of <br /> Americans in prior and current wars in which the United <br /> States has been involved; and <br /> <br /> The Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion are <br /> among the most prominent of the organizations of veterans <br /> of wars in which the United States has been involved an~ <br /> ~o~devote their efforts to observance and commemoration <br /> of the efforts of veterana. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWSj <br /> <br /> 1.
