RESOLUTION NO. 69-254 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CALLING FOR READVERTISE~IENT FOR <br />BIDS, ASSESS~IENT DISTRICT NO. 1969-1, LONGVIEW, <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON, ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Engineer of Work has submit'ted revised <br /> <br />plans and specifications for the work and improvements to be done <br />and performed in Assessment District No. 1969-1, Longview, City of <br />Pleasanton, ^lameda County, California, which revised plans and <br />specifications have been approved by the City CoUncil of the City of <br />Pleasanton, Alameda County, California; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this City Council <br /> <br />hereby orders that bids shall be received for the doing of said work <br />and improvements on the 25th day of November at 3:00 o'clock P.M. <br />of said day. Said bids or proposals shall be delivered on or before <br />3:00 o'clock P.M. of the 25th day of November,~ 1969, at the office <br />of the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, City Hall, 603 Main <br />Street, Pleasanton, California, which time and place are hereby fixed <br />as the time and place of a public meeting at which said bids will be <br />publicly opened, examined and declared by the City Clerk of the City <br />of Pleasanton. Said bids, after being publicly opened, examined and <br />declared, will be calculated by the Engineer o:f Work, their report ~ <br />returned to the City Clerk, and the report of the results of the bidding <br />and the calculations of the Engineer of Work will be reported to the <br />City Council of the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> The City Council reserves'the right to reject any and ali <br /> bids or proposals should it deem this necessary for the public good, <br /> and also the bid of any bidder who has been delinquent or unfaithful <br /> in any former contract with the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />-I- <br /> <br /> <br />
