CITY : CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 69'238 RESOLUTION DECLARING ANNEXATION PROCEEBINGS INITIATED BY CITY COUNCIL, AND GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION DESIGNATED ANNEXATION NO. 61 COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS 1. These proceedings are initiated by the Council of the Cit 3f Pleasanton to annex to the City of Pleasanton all that uninhabi- territory described below. The Council acts on its own motion, to the "Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939", Sections 35300 et seq. of the Government Code) as amended. 2. The City Council is in receipt of a written consent to ~nnex said territory designated Annexation No. 61 from all of the landowners within said annexation. 3. The City Council does hereby desire ~o annex said uninhabl territory for the following reasons: Said territory is contiguous to Sh~ City, a part of the General Plan, ,and one Of a series of annexations necessar in expanding the City boundaries. The area can be served by City seWer and water, .and is the next logical step in the City's growth. The Local Agency Formation Commission of Alameda County, ;alifornia, .approved the above described and proposed boundaries of said territory by resolution duly adopted SeDtember 25, 1969. 6. The time and place is hereby fixed when and where any ~on owning real property within the uninhabited territory de, ~cribed above and proposed to be annexed to the City of Pleasanton, having any objections thereto, may appear before the Council ~how cause why such annexation should not take Place, to wit:
