RESOLUTION NO. 69.227 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON VACATING AND ABANDONING A <br />CERTAIN PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an application has been filed with the City Council <br />of the City of Pleasanton requesting the vacation and abandonment <br />of certain public service easements, in, on, under and over that <br />certain real property within the City of Pleasanton, County of <br />Alameda, State of California, more particularly described as follows: <br /> <br />THOSE STRIPS of land labeled "8' P.S.E." lying within <br />Lot 130, as said lot and strips of land are shown on <br />the map of "Tract 2953, Val Vista Unit ~, City of <br />Pleasanton, Alameda County, California", filed July <br />25, 1969, in Rook 62 of Maps, pages 1 to 9, inclusive, <br />in the office of the County Recorder of Alameda County. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, pursuant to Article 5, Chapter 2, Part 1, Division <br />l, Title 5 of the California Government Code (the Public Service <br /> <br />Easements Vacation Law), this Council, on ~ 25~ , 1969, <br /> <br />adopted Resolution No. 69-202 indicating its intention to vacate <br />and abandon_the aforesaid public service easements, and did on <br /> <br /> S~p~ember 22 , 1969, after the publishing of due notice thereof, <br /> <br />held a public hearing in this matter; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council does hereby find and determine that <br /> <br />in all other respects, the said Public Service Easements Vacation <br />Law has been complied with in this matter; <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this City Council finds <br />and determines'that the public service easements, as aforesaid, are <br />u~necess&ry for present or prospective public use, and the sa~e <br />hereby are ordered vacated and abandoned. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is directed to <br />cause a certified copy of this Resolution, attested by him under <br />seal, to ~be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Alameda <br /> <br />County. <br /> <br /> <br />
