CITY 0F i LI ASANt'ON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6g-210 <br /> <br /> CREATION OF A COMMUNITY CONCERNS COMMITTEE <br /> FOR THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council did, in May of 1968, appoint a <br />Citizens Advisory Committee composed of interested citizens to <br />investigate and advise the City Council with respect to the crea- <br />tion of some form of body for the City of Pleasanton concerned wit <br />human relations and community concerns; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said Advisory Committee did submit to the City <br />Council its report and recommendations; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council did consider at length the report <br />recommendation of the Citizens Advisory Committee o~ Human <br />Relations and the feelings with respect thereto of the community <br />at large. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That there is created an advisory committee to be known <br /> as the Community Concerns Committee of the City of <br /> Pleasanton, which said committee shall from time to time <br /> and at the direction of the City Council advise the City <br /> Council with respect to matters of concern to the citizen <br /> of the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> 2. That the report of the Citizens Advisory Committee dated <br /> June 18, 1969, is adopted, provided however, that the <br /> City Council reserves to itself the right to provide ~or <br /> the powers and duties of the Community Concerns Committee <br /> <br />DATED: August 26, 1969 <br /> <br /> y .
