CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO~ <br /> <br />RE: APPROVING THE PROPOSED JUNIOR BICYCLE TRAFFIC <br /> ~URT PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />IOW, <br /> <br /> The Police Department of the City of Pleasanton has pro- <br /> posed a Junior Bicycle Traffic Court Program intended to <br /> educate youthful bicycle riders in the proper operation <br /> and maintenance of their bicycles consistent with applica <br /> ble State law and City ordinances; and <br /> <br />Approval of said program appears clearly to be in the <br />public interest and in the interests of developing <br />better communication and understanding between the City <br />Police Department and the youth of the City. <br />THEREPORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the Junior Bicycle Program proposed by the Police <br /> Department of the City of Pleasanton be approved. <br /> <br /> 2.
