CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE O;: CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> RESCLUT;~N NO.70-250 <br /> <br /> RE: ENDORSEMENT OF ASSOCIATION 0F BAY AREA GOVERNMENTS <br /> HOUSING GOALS <br /> <br /> the Department of Housing and Urban Development has <br /> recently adopted an~evaluation system for water and sewer <br /> facility applications whereby points are granted to public <br /> agencies for, among other things, their endorsement of the <br /> housing goals and objectives of the Association of Bay <br /> Area Governments; and <br /> the statement of housing goals of Association of Bay Area <br /> Governments is, "To provide the opportunity for all per- <br /> sons in the Bay Area to obtain adequate shelter convenient <br /> to other activities and facilities, in Neighborhoods that <br /> are satisfying to them." <br /> <br />WHEREAS, since the goals and objectives of the City of Pleasanton <br /> are clearly consistent with those of Association of Bay <br /> Area Governments the approval of the Association of Bay <br /> Area Governments appears desirable. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the housing goals and objectives approved by the <br /> Association of Bay Area Governments in its adopted <br /> Regional Plan for 1970-1990 referred to above is approved <br /> <br /> and the appropriate City offi~irecte~ take what~ <br /> ever action necessary to im~l~e-~~/^ % / I.~.t <br />DATED: December 21, 1970 <br />ATTEST: ROB~I.
