CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE ,OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO, 70-244 <br /> <br />INTENTION TO ABANDON A PORTION OF VALLEY AVENUE <br />RIGHT-0F~WAY AT THE INTERSECTION OF VALLEY AVENUE <br />AND HOPYARD ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council was asked at its meeting December 14, <br /> <br />NOW, <br /> <br />~,E~_. DeCember 14, <br />"~T~ES~-." <br /> <br /> 19~ <br /> to manifest its intent with respect to the abandor~ent of <br /> <br /> a portion of Valley Avenme following realignment thereof; <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. It is the intention of the City Council to abandon that <br /> <br /> portion of. existing Valley Avenue right-of-way from Hop- <br /> yard Road to its intersection with the new alignment of <br /> Valley Avenue as shown on Exhibit A attached hereto, <br /> excepting from said abandonment that portion necessary <br /> for the proper operation of the existing well and access <br /> to said well. Said exception as shown outlined in red <br /> on Exhibit A attached hereto. <br /> <br />2. It is further the City's intention at such time as more <br /> precise information is available concerning the ultimate <br /> development of the existing well to abandon or to allow <br /> the use of those portions of the exception which will not <br /> be needed for exclusive City purposes in connection with <br /> the existing well and access thereto. <br /> <br />3. It is further the City Council's intention to abandon the <br /> described portions of existing Valley Avenue at such time <br /> as adequate provisions for the passage of two-way traffic <br /> <br /> have been provided in the prop~new alig~t of Vallem~ <br /> <br /> Avenue /D ~'~ // ) ~ <br /> # 1i!
