WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO, 70-240 <br /> <br /> RE: CHANGE IN GENERAL PLAN FOR AREA LOCATED AT TNE <br /> ZNTERCHANGES OF ZNTERSTATE ROUTE 680 AND BERNAL <br /> AVENUE AND FOOTHILL ROAD AND BERNAL AVENUE <br /> <br /> the Planning Commission by Resolution 1043 adopted at its <br /> meeting November 10, 1970, and after having heard and con- <br /> sidered evidence both oral and documentary, recommended <br /> certain changes in the General Plan at and about the inter~ <br /> e~m~gea~o~ Bernal Avenue and Route 680 and Foothill Road <br /> and Bernal Avenue and that, if approved, a rezoning be <br /> initiated to make the zoning district boundaries conform <br /> to the General Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, in public hearing Decem~r 7, 1970, con- <br /> sidered the reports of staff dated October 27, 1970 and <br /> November 12, 1970, the recommendation of the Planning Com- <br /> mission embodied in Resolution No. 1043, evidence both <br /> oral and documentary presented by City staff, representa- <br /> tives of affected landowners and residents of the Castle- <br /> wood and Foothill Road portions of the Pleasanton Plannin <br /> <br /> area, and the intent and purpose of the General Plan; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the General Plan of the City of Pleasanton be amende <br /> as recommended by the Planning Commission in Resolution <br /> No. 1043. <br /> <br /> 2. That the Planning Commission at its earliest convenience <br /> initiate a rezoning changing the zoning for the propertie~ <br /> in the southeastern quadrant of the intersection of Berna~ <br /> Avenue and Foothill Road from C-N (Neighborhood Commercial) <br /> District, C-C (Central Commercial) District and 0 (Office <br /> District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) District, <br /> <br /> <br />
