WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO, 70-233 <br /> AWARD OF BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ~MPROVEMENTS FOR <br /> MUIRWOOD COMMUNITY PARK <br /> <br />Bids for the construction of improvements on Muirwood <br />Park were solicited consistent with bid procedures con- <br />tained in the Government Code and were received and there- <br />a£ter opened on November 24, 1970; and <br /> <br />The bid of Economy Garden Supply, Inc. in the amount of <br />$89,168.00 plus $B,966.00 as an alternate was the low bid <br />of elevent bids submitted; and <br />the !ow bidder, Economy Garden Supply, Inc. was contacted <br />and indicated his satisfaction with the bid, and his bid <br />forms were checked by the ~epartment of Public Works and <br />found to contain no clerical errors; and <br /> <br />The reputation and qualifications of the low bidder have <br />been investigated by the Department of Public Works and <br /> <br /> found to be satisfactory. <br /> <br />NOW, TRERE~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. <br /> <br /> That the bid of Economy Garden Supply, Inc. of $93,134.00 <br /> (base bid of $89,168.00 plus alternate No. i of $3,966.00~ <br /> for the construction of improvements on Muirwood Park is <br /> accepted and the contract for said Job awarded to the low <br /> <br /> bidder with the appropriate City officers directed to take <br /> whatever action necessary to imD2~/t,,,, and~pare the <br /> contract documents herein. <br /> <br />DA~ED: November 30, 1970 <br /> <br />AT ST:T~ ROBEP~ I.
