CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 70-224 <br /> <br />COMMENDING RI CARDO CASTRO, PLANNING DIRECTOR FOR THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON, FOR HIS OUTSTANDING SERVICE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />NOW, <br /> <br />DA~FED~ <br /> <br />APP't i]VEI) AS TO FORM <br /> <br /> RICARDO CASTRO has been Planning Director of the City of <br /> Pleasanton for three years; and <br /> <br /> During that time the City of Pleasanton has experienced <br /> unparalleled growth for a California city; and <br /> <br /> During this difficult period RICARDO CASTRO has provided <br /> extremely able planning direction to the City of Pleasan- <br /> ton as well as outstanding administration of day to day <br /> land use decisions thus accounting to a considerable <br /> extent for the ability of the City of Pleasanton to say <br /> truthfully that during this period of rapid growth it did <br /> not sacrifice legitimate planning goals for m~re growth <br /> nor quality in architecture and design for expediency in <br /> development; <br /> <br /> RICARD0 CASTRO has accepted another position as Planning <br /> Director and his presence in the City of Pleasanton will <br /> be sorely missed; <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Pleasanton thanks <br /> RICARD0 CASTRO for an outstanding Job as Planning Direc- <br /> tor of the City, the product of which has been and will <br /> <br /> be appreciated by the residents of the City of Pleasanto~ <br /> and wish him every success in h s new capacity, realizingI <br /> that Pleasanton's loss is h~ e~loy~gain. <br /> ~ovember 2, 1970 ~~r.~ <br /> ROBERT~I.
