CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO- 7G-~i n <br /> RE: APPLICATION BY JOHN MAC GOWAN TO REZONE 100 ACRES, AND <br /> APPROVING TENTATIVE DEVELOPMENT PLAN FILED WITR RESPECT TO <br /> 23.8 ACRES AND PUD CLASSIFICATION TO BALANCE OF LAND <br /> <br />~EREAS, In considering the application by John MacGowan for rezon <br /> ing of some 100 acres of property to RM-25 (Multi-Family) <br /> C-S (Commercial Service and I-P (Industrial Park) Distrlc <br /> the Planning Commission, by Resolution No. 1031, adopted <br /> August 26, 1970, recommended that the application be <br /> approved if treated as a Planned Unit Development, in <br /> which event, the Tentative Development Plan which had <br /> been submitted with respect to some 23.8 acres of land wa <br /> approved and that the balance of the property would be, <br /> at the time final zoning district boundaries were fixed <br /> for the 23.8 acres, classified in the P.U.D. District <br /> .p~nding submittal of development plans therefor; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City Council, at its meeting September 21, 1970, con- <br /> sidered staff reports and other evidence both oral and <br /> documentary and, after due deliberation, considered it as <br /> desirable and in the public interest that the recommenda- <br /> tion of the Planning Commission with respect to the appll <br /> <br /> cation herein be approved. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the Tentative Development Plan filed with respect <br /> to 23.8 acres located generally at the intersection of <br /> TassaJara Road and Santa Rita Road and owned by John <br /> MacGowan is approved and authorization given to proceed <br /> with the filing of final development plans therefor, and <br /> that the balance of the MacGowan property, originally <br /> proposed to be zoned C-S (Commercial Service) for 22.6 <br /> acres and I-P (Industrial Park) District for 31.4 acres <br /> <br /> <br />
