WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 70-2Q9 - <br /> <br /> GRANTING OF APPEAL FROM DENIAL OF PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> OF A VARIANCE TO MORRISON HOMES <br /> <br />the Zoning Administrator granted administratively a vari- <br />ance to Morrison Homes from the rearyard set back require- <br />ments of one foot three inches, and affected land lowners <br />appealed this decision and was sustained by the Board of <br />Adjustment, whereupon Morrison Homes, Inc. appealed the <br />decision of the Board of Adjustment to the City Council; <br />and <br />the City Council on October 5, 1970, considered evidence <br />both oral a~d documentary together with proposals by <br />appellant Morrison Homes, Inc. to mollify aggrieved <br />adjacent landowners, said proposals involved heavy land- <br />scaping of the rear property line at 4~03 Gatetree Circle. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the appeal of Morrison Homes, Inc. be granted, thus <br /> affording a 1'3" variance from the required rearyard set <br /> back for lot #58, Tract No. 2842, said appeal and variance <br /> being granted on the condition that appellant, Morrison <br /> Homes, Inc., satisfy the Director of Public Works with <br /> respect to the landscaping proposal made by Morrison <br /> Homes, Inc. herein. <br /> <br />DATED: October 5, 1970 <br /> <br /> RO~T I.
