MARY-MAIN STREET-SPRING STREET <br />INTERSECTION <br /> <br />The Council had previously approved location of and sig- <br />nalization at the St. Mary-Main.~treet-Spring Street <br />intersection and has considered in detail the traffic <br />flow presently and that expected in the future, the <br />channelization of traffic and on-street parking changes <br />required by signalization; and <br /> <br />It appears desirable to proceed with implementation of <br />traffic channelization and on-street parking changes, as <br />well as with ~h~ designation of Spring Street between <br />Main and Railroad Avenue as a one-way street and with the <br />preparation of working drawings for the signalization <br />herein. <br /> <br />NOW, THERE~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That the staff be directed to proceed with the prepara- <br />tion of detailed plans and specifications including <br />execution of purchase orders necessary therefor. <br /> <br />That subsection 6s-7 of Section 6 of Resolution No. 70-26 <br />relating to No Parking Zones on Spring Street, is repeale~ <br />and deleted, and Subsection 6s'6 of Section 6 of Resolu- <br />tion No. 70-26 is amended to provide as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 6. No Parking Zones <br /> <br />6s-6. <br /> <br /> Spring Street, On the south side of Spring <br /> Street from Main Street to Railroad Avenue." <br /> <br />That Subsection Ss-1 of Section 8 of Resolution No. 70-26 <br />relating to diagonal parking zones on St. Mary Street is <br />repealed and deleted. <br /> <br /> <br />
