HIRST, City Attorn~ <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT WITH TASSAJARA FIRE PROTECTEON <br />DZSTRICT RE: LEASE OF FIRE TRUCK PRIOR TO ACTUAL PURCHASE <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />'The TassaJara Fire Protection District has submitted the <br />high bid of $1,05B.80 for a 1951 250 gallon per minute <br />fire truck, Serial No. 500905, owned by the City of <br />Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> The TassaJara Fire Protection District must acquire <br /> approval of the Contra Costa Board of Supervisors for <br /> the expenditure of this purchase from general funds, said <br /> approval requiring 50-45 days. <br /> <br /> Since it is the fire season, both the City of Pleasanton <br /> and the TassaJara Fire Protection District agree on the <br /> desirability of allowing immediate use of said fire truck <br /> by the TassaJara District in order to equip and renovate <br /> said fire truck pending actual transfer of title of said <br /> <br /> truck from the City to the District. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. <br /> <br /> with. <br /> <br />DATED: September 21, 1970 <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />That from and after the effective date of the agreement <br />dated SeptemberL~ 21, 1970 between the City of Pleasanton <br />and the TassaJara Fire Protection District the District <br />may take possession of one 1951 FWD 250 GPM Firetruck, <br />serial No. 500905, owned by the City of Pleasanton, for <br />a period of thirty days or until title to said truck <br />passes to the District consistent with terms of sale and <br />the high bid of $1,05B.80 as submitted by the District <br />and accepted and approved by the City. <br /> <br />That all other conditions of the agreement be complied <br /> <br /> <br />
